BAH HUMBUG!!

Surprised? Your happy groovy hippie chick hates the Holidays! WHY? ...because the innocence of it is all gone!!! There is NOT one year that goes by without having a family member is heartbroken because they didn't get to see another (thanks for the new guilt trip!), or that half the population is bitter & depressed because it doesn't snow on Christmas Day! WHAT?!?!?! (it snowed the next day but that wasn't good enough....now people are bitter because there's too much snow to deal with while going to the Boxing week Sales). You would think that they'd be happy, since playing in the snow is the most innocent, inexpensive and natural way of bonding with the people around you......and great exercise!.....some might even call it a natural high!!

I would just love to go away during the holidays. Believe me I try over and over again.....but there isn't enough $$ in my wooden box for the amount of herbal tea I'd need to be THAT FAR GONE! its a shame.......

By the way: all you PC-people out there : I refer to the Holidays as this time of year....not because I don't want to say the dreaded evil word of "christmas"....GET OVER YOURSELVES! Don't you HOLIDAY lovers refer to this time of year as a loving, giving and forgiving time.....listen to yourselves!

ANOTHER REASON WHY THE HOLIDAYS ARE A DRAG.....CHRISTMAS .VS. EVERYTHING ELSE!! WHY IS EVERYTHING A FIGHT < A WAR < A BATTLE FOR WHO HAS THE RIGHT TO FLASH BRIGHT LIGHTS ON THIER PINE TREES!! SERIOUSLY?! Its decoration, not a sign of disrespect!

If someone wants to explain thier cause to me, I welcome your words of expression--- please explain why the battle of the lite up tree is so important to you! I'm here to listen. I challence you, to make me see YOUR light of this situation.

Well, I'm not in any competition to have the best decorations, but I completely admit to loving the nice glow of the Christmas tree after a long day at work. It's a very soothing sight for me...and in this year's case, the perfect light in which to get engaged!!! So, Christmas is definitely good in my books as it will always have a wonderful memory tied to it (as well as a lit tree :) ).
