Somethin’ ta make ya go hmmmm......
So lets review socially-acceptable Life Stages…....these are supposed to be the “normal” steps/experiences throughout your life.......
(step1) birth: when pooping in your pants was socially-acceptable because you don’t know any better (apparently that’s where you end your life too…something to think about);
(step2) grade school: when having a special-friend (of either gender) was socially-acceptable because everyone figured you’re too young too know anything about S-E-X (
gotta spell it so the kids don’t know what we’re talking about); (
step3) high school/college/university : when getting drunk was socially-acceptable because you’re ‘teens just being teens’--- but don’t smoke pot because then you’re a drug addict….(
see movie Reefer Madness –restored & in color version is the best);
(step4) job/career: (preferable a corporate one) even if it sucks and drains the life outta you …because all of the next steps in your life rely on it ;
(step5) get married: make it elaborate & involve people you don’t know because this is your parents’ moment of accomplishment (ever notice how the parents get congratulated at their kids’ wedding day......think about it) ;
(step6) making babies (not a baby….babies) : this shows that you’re responsible now …..so now you gotta make sure you hold on to that shitty ass job or you’re gonna be responsible for putting your family into ruins…
(step7) repeat history: make sure you get your kids through all those FUN life-changing experiences that you experienced because you want them ‘fulfilled’ in life - fulfilled with normalness!! You want them to be so happy (and normal) that they’ll want to burst!!!
……..now I didn’t say what they’ll burst…… could be a blood vessel.... or could be of sheer happiness (like you always wanted) ….but then again happiness is a relative term…..it can mean different things to different people…..

Happiness: when you don’t wish to be somewhere else. To be happy with me, my current self, and not want to feel the grass on the other side……..…
(I’d rather just smoke the grass on THIS side * insert simultaneous wink’n’nudge here* )PLEASE SEND ME YOUR RELATIVE IDEA OF HAPPINESS!!………….....I won’t even address the issue of ‘normal’ because that’s a term created by the makers of really BAD Family TV sitcoms (from Father-Knows-Best to 7th-Heaven definitely proves my point…even cheese-factory Gilmore Girls makes post-teenage single motherhood seem like another day in the coffee house) …..SEE NOT REAL…..TV FABRICATED!!! …………. real life is more like …….well here we go again ….another relative issue…… and depending where you live – it could be like COPS!!!
